REFUSE INVITATION TO GIVE EVIDENCE. Delhi. June IS. The Government’s Military Requirements Committee invited extremists, including Gandhi, to give evidence, but they refrained. This has caused surprise in view of the extremists’ avowed intention to smash the military system. Tho All-India Congress Committee mor and passed a resolution advising the soldiers to refrain from helping tho British Government in war against Angora, will be created for the Pacific.—Aus.Cable Assn.
