CHILD DROWNED IN TEPID BATHS
Br Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, June 19A girl named Jane Faithful, aged seven years, was drowned in the Hobson tepid baTTis vesterday afternoon. She was swimming with the aid of a I' 3 -’ 1 ” water-wings, and it is thought that h feet became entangled, causing her head and shoulders io sir’r. Mrs. Smith one of the attendants, noticed her, and immediately reached from the edge of the baths and pulled her out. Heady assistance was given, but all efforts at resuscitation proved ineffectual.
