YORKSHIRE WOOL TRADE
o AN AGREEMENT THAT WILL PREVENT STOPPAGE. (Rec. June 14, 9.20 p.m.) London, June 14. An agreement has been reached which will prevent the stoppage of the Yorkshire wool trade, involving 200,000 workers. The agreement will operate until June, 1922, apd provides total wages reductions of 18} per cent., against the 22} per cent., which was the employers’ original proposal.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
