CLOSING POSTPONED. Melbourne, June 14. At the suggestion of Mr. Justice Bowers, the closing of tho Mount Lyell mines has been postponed from June 16 until Juno 29. —Press Assn. 'The board of directors of the Mount Lyell Company issued a statement Inst, month that it was forced to close the mines in view of the heavy loss if operations were continued under existing conditions. Instructions were given that all operations at Queenstown and Port Kembla should cease on June 10.]
