IMPERIAL MEAT
STORES ALMOST CLEAR. The quantity of Imperial meat remaining in the cold stores in New Zealand is approximately 60,000 freight carcasses, kfost of the stores are clear of the meat that was 'bought by the Imperial Government under tho war contracts. The 60,000 carcasses comprise beef at Nelson and Tokomaru Bay, and beef, mutton, and lamb at Wairoa. The beef is part of the moat that was transferred by the Imperial Government to Vestey Brothers.
