SPEECH BY ADMIRAL SIMS
AMERICAN NAVY SECRETARY AMAZED. (Rec. Juno 9, 5 5 p.m,) Washington. June 8. The Secretary of the Navy, Mr. E. Denby, has cabled Admiral Sims, ashing whether the latter’s London speech had be?n correctly quoted. Mr. Denby stated that he had read with amazement the remarks attributed io the Admiral. Mr. Denby’s action followed a protest by Senator M'Cormick.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
