THE WEATHER
FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are for high westerly winds and further unsettled weather, with rain probable generally. Barnmeter unsteady. Atmospheric pressure, has decreased further in the north, but has been unsteady in the south, and strong northerly ami westerly winds have ruled. Unsettled and cloudy weather has been experienced with rain in many parts and ha/j-e been prevalent, navticularlv about CwA Strait and on the West Coast of the South Island. D Q BATES. Director.
