ILL-TREATMENT OF WAR PRISONERS
— -♦ TRIAL OF GERMAN SENTRY OPENED. (Reo. June 2, 1.10 a.m.) Leipzig, May 31. Tho third trial of Robert Neumann, the sentry at a working camp at the chemical factory of tho Pommerusdorf near Stettin, has opened. He is charged with ill-treatment of prisoners. '1 he real culprit. Sergeant-Major Truike, has disappeared, it is believed, to Poland. Truike- specially selected Neumann to execute his orders. —Reuter.
