The “Morning Post” states that it is reported that the Irish Republican Army is being mobilised, and intends to take the field jpenly. Ove’ a thousand have already been massed in the Clydugb Mountains. Another base is the Valentia Peninsula, from which the Crown forces are cut off by the destruction of the bridges. —Aus.-N.Z. SINN FEIN OUTRAGES FEARED
THE KING SPECIALLY GUARDED AT EPSOM. (Rec. June 1, 5.5 p.m.) London, June 1. Fearing Sinn Fein outrages, the King is being specially guarded at Epsom.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. PARTY OF SOLDIERS AMBUSHED London, May 31. A party of the Hants Regiment, with their band, was ambushed near Youghal. Five or six of then were killed and nearly a dozen wounded by bombs or on the mined road. Several arrests were made. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
