SIGNIFICANT CHANGE IN ITALIAN POLICY. Rome, May 31. The "Messagero” publishes an article advocating the reopening of the Roman question which is attracting much attention. The “Carriere d’ltalia,” commenting on the significant change in policy from afiti-clericalism to close accord with the Vatican, says it means the recognition of the Papacy’s international influence, which official Italy ignored until the' war opened everyone s eyes—Aus.-N.Z.
