STATE BUTCHERY
REDUCTION IN RETAIL PRICES.

The. manager of the new State butchery states that a profit of £3O resulted on two and a half days’ business. He claims that he has lowered the price of retail meat fivepence per pound. The butchery is soiling rump and fillet steak at 9d. and 10d., against Is. fid. and Is. Rd., the prices ruling elsewhere. —Press Assn,
