The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company. Lt-d.. report on their. Pahiatua sale held on Tuesday:—We had a good entry of ehcep and a small one of cattle. Our entry comprised a number of pena of good forward wethers, which did not meet with as keen competition a<i expected, but vendors met the market, and we report almost a total clearance, only one pen going out unsold. We quote:—Forward four-tooth wethers. 14s. to 15e. 4d.: forward tw« tooth wethers. 13e. 9d. to 14b. 9d.: two-tooth wethere. 12s. 9d.; cwcb in lamb. 7s. 9d.; woolly lambs. 6s. 3d.; eighteen-mouth dairy heifers. £3 17s. 6d.: two and a half-year dairy heifers, £4 12b. 6d. to £B.
