On a member of tho board discovering that there was no money in hand for salaries, he was informed that such was always the case at this time of the month. The board worked on an overdraft until the Government cheque came along. The Secondary Schools’ Association wrote to tho governors, expressing its satisfaction that New Zealand teachers havo been found capable of filling the important positions of principals of the Auckland Girls’ Grammar School.
