GREETINGS FROM U.S.A.

AS BETWEEN BOY STOUTS. Greetings from the Boy Scouts of America wore conveyed to the Dominion Boy Scouts’ Conference yesterday by Mr. David D. Milligan, of Nelson, who recently returned from America. During six years in America, Mr. Milligan had been associated with the movement, and before his return to New Zealand. Mr. James E. West, chief scout executive officer of America, had asked him to convey greetings to Now Zealand. (Applause.) In reply, the Governor-General said: "I am miro ’the council of the Boy Scouts of the Dominion hue heard those greetings with very great pleasure.” (Applause.)
