The Wairarapa Farmers’ Co-operative Association. Ltd.. Pnhiatua. report on their weekly sale held in the Mamranao yards on Tuesday, as follows:—We had a very good yarding of sheep, fat eheep being of exceptional quality. Buyers for fat aheep were present from various . parts, and competition was verv keen, a , much brighter tone being noticed through- ' out the sale, a fine pen of fat 4-tooth wethers realising the satisfactory price ol 18s. Id. We were successful in disposing of practically the wjjole entry under the hammer, the only lines neglected being two pens of Owes, in iamb to Romney rams. We had a very small entry of cattle. The following are the prices obtained:—ll.s fat wethers, 18a. Id.; 63 do.. 17s. 7d.: 66 do., 17". 6d.; 59 do.. 17s. 2d.; 9 do., 14s. lid.; 18 do.. 145.: 26 forward ewes, 10s. 4d. ; 27 do.. 9e. 5d.; 27 empty ewes, 75.: 168 do., 65.; 144 ewes, m lamb to Romney rams. Bs. 6d.; 22 do., 7s. 5d.; 62 m.e. lambs, 7s. 2d.; 64 do.. 6s. 6d.; 23 do., ss. 7d.;’21 do,, 5.“..; 14 do., 45.; 1 springing heifer, £6 Ys. 6d.; 1 do., £5 17s. 6d.: 1 fat cow, £4 7s. 6d.
