ENEMY SHIPS
4 SALES BY BRITAIN. (Rec. May 25, 11.25 p.m.) London, May 25. In the House of Commons Sir Robert Horne (Chancellor of the Exchequer) stated that 202 enemy ships allotted to Britain had been sold, and realised 14J millions gross and six millions net, after repairs, delivery, and other expenses. Eighty-five enemy merchant ships were still unsold. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
