RELEASE DEMANDED BY PUBLIC
MEETING
(Rec. May 24, 8.5 p.m.) Sydney, May 24,
A public meeting addressed by a couple of clergymen and others adopted a resolution that the Crown had failed to prove the case against Mrs. Farr, and her immediate mid unconditional release was therefore demanded. It was also resolved to ask the Government to repeal the present Lunacy Act and* to pass a more modern and equitable measure. — Press Assn.
