In connection with tho Wairarapa farming experiments mentioned in The Dominion the other day, Mr. F. W. Greenwood. of the Government Agricultural Department, has inspected plots offered by various farmers throughout the district. and has passed them ns suitable for experimental purposes. The Joint Experimental Committee (representing tho Farmers’ Union and the A. ami P. Associations), for which Mr. D. Ilebcnton is secretary and organiser, is now making arrangements for the ploughing and sowing of tho areas offered.
