Charles Quarterman, aged 38, committed suicide to-night 1 . After taking liquor ho went, to the house of his wife, from whom Tie was separated, and attacked her. When she ran to the house of u
neighbour. Quartermail drew a razor, cut. his throat, and followed tho woman inside, bleeding profusely. Ho collapsed when Im .returned to tho verandah, and died at th® hospital later.
