FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT « P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are for moderate to strong south-east to north-east winds northwards of Farewell Spit and Kaikoura. and to freshening northerlies elsewhere shortly. Weather milder and fair to cloudy with increasing cloud and haziness generally and a falling barometer everywhere, soon. Atmospheric pressure is -till high over the Dominion, south-east breezes have predominated and cloudy and misty conditions have been reported in most parts D. 0. BATES, Director.
