MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING
Tho quarterly social and presentation of prizes in connection with tho Brooklyn Miniature Rifle Club was held last week nt the range. The evening opened with a progressive euchre tournament, when Mrs. Baldwinson was successful in winning tho trophy presented by Mr. T. Oates, and Mrs. Graham was tho winner of the "booby” prize. After supper Mr. S. Waters, vice-president, complimented the club on its splendid shooting; also on tho starting of a Indies’ club, and wished them every success. lie then presented the prizes won over the Quarter, tho following being the successful prize-winners:— Perkins Cup. Turndr Handicap Cup, and third monthly trophy—Mr. Webb. Alabaster Points Cup and G. Spencers prize—Mr. A. Worsfold. Halcroft Shield—D. Alabaster, ]unr. Turner "B” Cup—H. Beavis. Air. .Perkins’s trophy—T. Oates. Ladiii’ competition—First month, Miss I,eward 1 (Mrs. Graham’s trophy); second month, Mrs. Wannell’s trophy, Mrs. Webb. , . . On Wednesday night the newly-formed ladies’ club, on the invitation from the Petono Ladies’ Club, journeyed to letone.
