THE FIGURES FOR APRIL.
London, May 10.
Board of Trade returns for the month of April show that imports have decreased by .£77,134,451; exports by £46.384,107;; re-exports by £11,883,757.
The principal decreases in imports are raw cotton, £26,962,960; hides and skins, £5,136.218; dutiable food and drink, £4,958,128; oil seeds, etc., £4,460,036; w001.'£3,654,090; grain and flour, £3,522,224,
Decreases in exports include: Cotton yarns and manufacture*.. £21,276,562; coal, £6,528 ’65; woollen, worsted, yarns, and manufactures, £6,013,120.
Increases in imports include meat, £6,002,380: increases in exports include machinery, £3,732,639. —Aus.-N.Z, Cable Assn.
