The articles suggested for the union of the Presbyterian and Congregational Chnrchee were considered by the Christchurch Presbytery- and .approved, with tile addition to clause 6 of a provision that no church shall be closed without the consent of the members, provided they are able to pay their ministers stipend on the authorised scale.
