N.Z. ’VARSITY RUGBY TEAM
TO TOUR AUSTRALIA. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, May 8. Mr. J- N. Millard, of Wellington, who is the sole selector of the New Zealand University team which is to play a series of matches in Australia, has picked the following players:— Full-back—Siddels (Victoria). Three-quarters—Jackson and Aitken (Victoria), Ward (Otago), Wiseman (Canterbury), Eddows (Auckland). Five-eighths—Perry (Otago), Maxwell (Auckland), Dalgleish (Canterbury). Half-back—Row (Auckland). Forwards —Molloy (Auckland), Munro (Canterbury), Scott (Victoria); hookers— Hansen and Burns (Victoria), Jackson. Craven, and Campbell (Canterbury), Harty (Otago), Mackay (Auckland). Wing-forward—Cabot (Otago). The team is to assemble at Wellington before May 18, and if any man is unable to take part in the trip ho must notify the University Football Council. Auckland, iinmediately. The team will play a. representative Wellington team on Maj- 18, and sail for Sydney on May 19. The team is expected back by June 22.
