H.M.S. CHATHAM AT NAPIER
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Napier, May 9.
The New Zealand flagship Chatham arrived here early this afternoon from Auckland, and anchored in the roadstead. The Mayor and the chairman of the Harbour Board made a formal call on Captain Hotham. The cruiser will be open to the public during certain times while she remains here. Navy League excursions are being arranged. H.M.S. Chatham will leave on Friday for Timaru.
