PLAN FOR RECONSTRUCTION.
Vienna, May 8. It is understood that, at the request of the League of Nations’ Finance Committee, tho Government proposes to seek credit from the Entente for five hundred million francs, secured mainly on 6 per cent, mortgage on all private landed property. The Government will also provide" for the uncovered deficit of seventeen thousand million kronen by internal loans. It is estimated that it will require two and a half years to reconstruct Austrian finances. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
