ITALIAN NOTES FORGED
EXTENSIVE OPERATIONS.
(Rec. May 9, <5.5 p.m.) Vienna, May 9. A gang of forgers of Italian notes has been arrested. Notes were found to the "value” of £3,500,000. The gang had elaborate printing .plants at Milan and Genoa. Tho notes were chiefly circulated in Austria. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
