The Union Company’s steamer Moeraki arrived in the stream at B.® o’clock last night. She loft Sydney at noon on Thursday. but was delayed by the bad weather prevailing off the New Zealand coast. The Moeraki will berth about nine o’clock this morning at No. 1 Queer’s V.’harf. Sho will sail for Lyttelton to-day. returning in time to sail for Sydney on Thursday.

MANUREWA FROM CLARENCE RIVER. The barque Manurewa arrived last night from Clarence River, from which port she sailed on April 25. The Manurewa. has a cargo of hardwood. She experienced tiuo weather until off the New Zealand 1 coast, when heavy weather was met. WAIWERA AT LONDON.

Tho S.S. and A. liner Waiwora arrived at London on Saturday last, from Auckland, from which port she sailed iu March.

PORT DARWIN FOPv WANGANUI. Tho 0. and D. liner Port Darwin is to sail to-day for Wanganui. She will afterwards go to Napier, and then come here. Bhs is timed to sail for London about June 1.

WIRELESS FROM THE SURREY. The Surrey has wirelessed that she expects to arrive at Auckland from Liverpool on Thursday. She should be here about a week later, and after discharge of the Wellington portion of her cargo she will go to Lyttelton and Dunedin. REVISED PICTON-NELSON SERVICE. The winter months arc now commencing, and the passenger trade between Wellington and Picton and Nelson is naturally falling off. As a result the Union Com. pany have decided on an alteration of the Picton-Nelson running. At the end of this week the Arahura will withdraw and undergo survey, the Mapourika in _ the meunwhile making the Nelson and Picton run. She will sail on Monday at noon. After completion of her overhaul the Arahura will taken up the combined NebonPicton running, relieving the Mapourika, which will Jay up. WHAKATANE’S MOVEMENTS. The Whakatane will go to Gisborne from Tokomaru Bay. and then come on here. She is due about Sunday next. THE CITY OF WINCHESTER. Tnn City of Winchester, at present discharging New York cargo here, on completion of discharge, will go to New 1 lyino’Ph. livttelton. Timaru. Dunedin, and Blufl’. She will load in New Zealand waters under the auspices of the 8 S. ana A. Line. MARAMA LEAVES PAPEETE. The Union Company advise that the R.M>S. Marama, bound from Viellington to San Francisco, left Papeete on Saturday, in continuation of her voyage. FOR LONDON. The two S.S. and A. liners Mahana and Tainui are to sail this week for London, the former sailing to-morrow, and the latter on Thursday. Passengers for the Tainui must be aboard by Wednesday night, and the vessel will sail at daybreak on Thursday. PORT HACKING TO COMPLETE. The C. and D. liner Port Hacking is due hero to-morrow from Wanganui to complete Homeward loading. Bhe is timed to sail for London on Saturday morning. TAIROA LEAVES BALBOA. The S S. and A. liner Tairoa, bound from Liverpool to New Zealand ports, left Balboa on May 7, end is expected at Auckland about May 31. She will later visit Lyttelton and Port Chalmers. WAIMATE TO LOAD. Tho New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Waimate should sail on Sunday for n-tmaru and New Plymouth^to-.load for Home. She will return to Wellington to fill up before sailing finally. WAIHORA FROM CALCUTTA. The Union Company’s freighter Waihora is due at Auckland to-day from Calcutta, and after discharging portion of her cargo she will come to Wellington, being due here in about a week’s time. " HURUNUI FROM AUCKLAND. The Federal Line expect the Hurunui to leave Auckland on Saturday for Wellington She should be here on Monday, and after discharging tho Wellington portion of her Now York cargo, she will go over to Australia. WAIKAWA FROM AUCKLAND. The Waikawa, with cargo from Pacific ports, arrived last night from Auckland: She ’should sail to-morrow for Dunedin, from which port she will go to Australia. RAMA DUE THURSDAY. The Chatham Islands Fishing Company’s steamer llama is expected here about Thursday from Oamaru. It is expected that she will sail the following day for Lyttelton and Timaru.
