The weekly meeting of the Wellington Referees’ Association was held last night. Mr. R. T. Bailey in the chair. There was a large attendance of members. Messrs. D. J. Guiney and C. K. Ingram were elected members. Air. St.nce Hylton was nominated ns a member. The Wellington Rngbv Union notified the association that Dr. Gilmer and Dr. WEvedv were the Rugby Union’s doctors. The Rueby Union advised that the new rules will come into force on Saturday next, and urged the association to attend the various club practice rooms. Mr. IV. A. Godber wrote notifying thnt on account of removal from the district he would be unable to officiate in games. Considerable time -was occupied in discussing the new rules and referees were requested to got info touch with the secretary as to the rules deleted.
