MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING
At the tenth annual meeting of the Wellington Harbour Board Miniature Rifle Club Mr. J. M. Russell presided. The balance-sheet showed the club to be in a good financial position, having a cash balance of £9 Os. 2d., and balance of assets over liabilities of £43 ss. 2d. During the season the club held its otyn, having won the Wellington Miniature Rifle Association inter-elub (A grade) contest., lasting over three months, winning nine out of the eleven matches fired. The B grade teams also did well, numbers 1 and 2 tying for second and third places, winning ten and nine respectively out of their twelve matches . TW» club also won the Osmond Shield twice in succession, scoring 679 for the second quarter, and 681 for the third quarter, out of a possible 700 points. The club champion for the season- was Mr. L. I. Wrigley, with Mr R. IL Nicholl runner-up. Donors ol trophies for the season were: Messrs 11 E. Nicholls. Captain A. V. H. Munro Captain M’Arthur, Messrs. C. M Turrell, R. E. Sinclair, F. Bull.
