FORTY-FOUR-HOUR WEEK
SOME EXEMPTIONS GRANTED
Sydney, April 20. Mr. Justice Beeby has decided, on a forty-four-hour week for the saddlery, fancy leather, and machine belt-making industries, but has exempted the tanning and fellmongering industries, which are at present experiencing a crisis, which is aggravated by the increasing cost of labour. —Press Assn.
