SNOW ON THE RANGES.

By Telegraph—Special Cbrreapondent. Masterton, April 20. Masterton was visited with a cold southerly wind and heavy rain, to-day. The inclement weather lasted all day. end showed no signs of abating this evening. Ten degrees of froet were registered this morning. Indications point to an early winter, the Tararua ranges being already coated with snow.
