NORTH WAIRARAPA MEETING.

<Bv Telecranh-Snecial Oorra»oondent.l Masterton, April 16. At the North AVairarapa Rifle Association’s Meeting to-day, the championship was won by S “J.„ (Opaki) with a score of 266, T. Orr (Grevtown) 265, being the runner-up. , Rifleman Wiggins (Greytown) won , Lowe’s Handicap Aggregate. The Opaki ; B team won the teams match, w n Greytown second, and. Opaki A third. SUBURBS CLUB. The Suburbs Club fired a sweepstakes match on Saturday, at ranges 500 end ■ 600 vards. Deputy-President Smart topped the score with 89. The feature of the dav’s shooting was the score made by a veteran, G. Emms, who got 44 at 500 vards. He failed to hit the target . with his first counter. Then he raised his elevation from 300 yards to 500 ya™” and registered a 4 with his seoond sho and finished with eight T 9 ’ club’s shooting is now finished for the season.
