When ho got back to tho naval pinnace, after hi# fight with ifhe big seas, it was found that a rope had fouled the propeller of the launch, and she was at the mercy of the wind and boh. Captain Evans acted promptly, lie again jumped overboard, rind cleared the propeller, and all got back safely Io 11.M.5. Carlisle.
