A mail contract with the Orient Company and the Commonwealth has boon arranged, tho conditions 'being for a monthly service with a subsidy of .£*’‘’o 009. With the Peninsular Gorapn, l )? it'was hoped to arrange a fortnightly service.—Press Assn.
