The annual conference of the Associated Chambers of Commerce resolved to ask Mr. Hughes to enforce the Arbitration Court .awards or abolish the Court and allow differences to 'be settled between the parties. Other resolutions favoured fixing a uniform f.a.q. standard for wheat and oats, and reducing Government, interference wilti enterprise and taxation thereon to a minimum.—Press Assn.
