FORECAST AND SUMMARY z AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are for decreasing southerly winds, veering by west to north, and then increasing. Weather fair to cloudy. Glass fall again shortly in the south. Atmospheric pressure is now high over the Dominion, end. southerly winds: strong to gale, have been reported with a decreasing force, but a general improvement has taken place to-day. D. C. BATES.
