TEACHERS’ APPEALS
The executive of the New Zealand Secondary Assistants' Association has selected the following to conduct the eases of appellants before the Teachers' Appeal Board, which will sit about the end of this month: Mr. F. Martyn Kenner (Wellington); Miss C. F. Hull (Auckland); Miss E. M’lntosh and Mr. 11. Adamson (Christchurch). The setting up of these, appeal Iroards in the various University centres was authorised by the December regulations, 1920. under which all secondary teachers were classified. The Minister, realising that some teachers who have appealed against their classification may not be able to attend the sitting of the appeal board in person, or may in any case wish to have their case conducted by anol her person, has approved of I he appointment of a representative, to act in each centre. No counsel will be allowed. The constitution of the board has already been fixed. Women teachers in Auckland and Christchurch may if they desire have a. woman teacher to conduct tbi'ir appeals. In Wellington appeals by both Bule and female assistants will lie conducted by Mr. F. Martyn Rentier, of Wellington College.
