FIRE AT NEW PLYMOUTH
PAINTERS’ PREMISES GUTTED. Ry Telegraph - Press Association. New Plymouth, April 12. A fire occurred at. 8 o’clock last night in lhe premises of West and Sons, painters and paperhangers. Owing to the flames having a good hold before the fire was discovered, and the inflammable nature of the stock, it, was not suppressed before the building was gutted, and practically a total loss. The insurances tue:—On the building, --E6OO in the Sun Officio: stock, -8600 in lhe United Office and EGOO to the Royal Exchange Office. The loss above insurances is from A'looo to .£l5OO.
