DEMAND FOR HOME RULE
MEN, MONEY AND MUNITIONS NEEDED TO CARRY ON PROPAGANDA
By Telegraph—Preus Aisociation-Oopyrlght.
Delhi, April G.
Speaking at Madras, Mahomed Ali, a member of tho State Council and a prominent non-co-operationist, stated that he differed from Ghandi, and favoured violence, but .proposed giving the Government another chance of redressing India's wrongs by granting Swaraj, or Home Rule. As a Mussulman he did. not flinch from violence, but as they now were practising non-violence he mould not 'advocate contrary action. He advocated approaching the troops, police, and Civil 'Service to withdraw their support from the Government. Men, money, and munitions were wanted to carry on the propaganda.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
