FOUND DROWNED

At the .inquest on James M'Farlane, aged 76, who was found drowned in the Riverton Estuary, evidence was given that on Monday he visited Invercargill and deposited about .£7OOO worth of securities with the Public Trustee. He also left a will and gave the Trustee power of attorney to collect moneys due.. He appeared quite rational, discussed financial arrangements, and made certain requests. He was last seen the same night proceeding home to South Riverton, there were no suspicious circumstances. A verdict of found drowned was returned. Deceased was a bachelor, without relatives in the Dominion.
