CRICKET ASSOCIATION
MEETING OF MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. A meeting of the Management Committee of the Cricket Association was held last night, Mr. C. G. Wilson ■ boms in. the chair. A letter was received from the lown Clerk slating that the Reserves Committee would receive a deputation iiom the association with respect to securing special soil for the pitch. Messrs. .<• G. Wilson, M. Crombie, and B. L. Salmon were ix> wait on the Reserves Committee at ata meet,ing on Wednesday. The balance-sheet for the Test game, Australia v. New Zealand, showed that the gate money totalled £686 25., entrance to enclosure £242 Us. Id., oeipts for programmes £l4 Is. 4d. making a gross total of £942 14s- sd. Of this the City Council received, £lO2 18s. A detailed statement of the finances of the season is to be placed before the committee at its meeting on April -1. It was announced that the championship games during the season had resulted as follow: Grade. Winner. Senior .
