ANTI-IMMIGRATION CAMPAIGN

The Labour Conference rejected several resolutions proposing the readmission of members expelled over the Conscription issue. Mr. Garden, secretary of the Labour Council, stated that President J. Howie and the secretary of tho Coopers’ Union (T. Earnman) were visiting England for Hie anti-immigration campaign.—Press Assn.
