MAN’S DEATH ON STEAMER
BODY FOUND TN HOLD
By Telegraph— Press Asuocmtion. Auckland, April 7. The non-appearance at his home last night of A. E. Fanton, one of iffic panilera employefl o n tho Admiral Codringtou which is at present in Calliope dwk caused anxiety to his wife. A search of the vessel’was made this morning, when the men returned io work, and Fenton’ body was found lyiiiß m one of the holds. If is thought that in walking across the deck after knocking off work last evening, hn must have tripped and fallen down tho hold, meeting death instantly, as no outcry seems to have been heard. Deceased, who was 34 years of age, was a married man with two children.
