ENTERTAINMENTS
KINGS THEATRE. The famous boxer, Georges Carpentier, in his latest film, “The Wonder Alan,” which is now being shown at the King’s Theatre, has added further to his success as a kinema actor. The story is one of society, and Carpentier is given the role of a young man about town, upon whom there falls tho duty of righting big troubles. The supporting films have been well chosen, and enjoyable music is provided by the King’s orchestra. Les Walton contributes two very acceptable elocutionary items. EVERYBODY’S THEATRE. "The Turn of the Road” is attracting considerable attention at Everybody’s Theatre. It is a story built upon the philosophy of right over wrong, and good over evil, and is interpreted by an allstar cast. Numerous other attractions, including a comedy, ''She Needed a Doc» tor,” are shown. EMPRESS THEATRE. In "The Gauntlet." at the Empress Theatre, Harry T. Morey plays the part of the hero, a stranger to the back (country who becomes particularly unwelcome- to some moonshiners. There is trouble in plenty, leading up to a good climax. Included in the supports is (mother episode of the serial, "The Ina gazette, and a comedy.
