RECONSTITUTION OF PERMANENT FORCE.
Cape Town, April 5. The Government has introduced a Defence Bill providing for the reconstitution of the permanent force, consisting of artillery, mounted and dismounted regiments, and air force; also for the compulsory registration and training of citizens over seventeen years old.—Aus.N.Z.
