The Huddart-Parker steamer Ulimaroa arrived yesterday afternoon from Sydney, and berthed at No. 1 Queen's Wharf shortly before 7 in the evening. She left Sydney at about 8.30 p.m. on Thursday, and made a fine-weather voyage. Light winds, smooth seas, and clear skies prevailed throughout the trip. Mr. P. Helthe. has rejoined the vessel as second mate; Mr. N. M Neill has joined as second engineer, vice Mr. Waugh, who has been transferred to another of the company’s steamers. As Mr. T P Watkins has transferred to another steamer. Mr. G. M. Hill has been promoted to refrigerating engineer, apd Mr. J. Valentine to sixth enginer. Mr. E. U. Thomason has joined as third engineei, and Mr. H. Crosker as seventh. ZEALANDIC’S DEPARTURE FOR * • LONDON. The departure of the S.S. and A. liner Zealandic for London from Lyttelton has been postponed until noon to-morrow. Tho vessel was to have sailed to-day. TREYLOk’S MOVEMENTS. The Federal Line advise that the Treylon, at present at Timaru. is to leave that port to-day for Dunedin. She should sail from Dunedin to-morrow for Newcastle. TAHITI EXPECTED TO SAIL TO-DAY. The Union Company hope to diepatch the R.M.S. Tahiti, which was forced to put back to port on account of a fire in No. 1 hold, for San Francisco, via Island ports, to-day, at 3 p.m. _ The cargo from No. 1 hold was discharged yesterday. MAIMOA DUE FRIDAY. The S.S. and A. Line expect the Maimoa here about Friday. At present she is expected to leave Napier on Thursday, and is up to sail for London on April .14. EAST COAST SERVJCE. The which is due hero on Wednesday from Lyttelton, is now expected to sail on the same day for Auckland. The Kanna. the other Red Funnel steamer at present employed in the East Coast service, is due here about, Sunday from Auckland, and shoull suil the following day for Lyttelton and Dunedin. RIMUTAKA AND RUAPEHU. The New Zealand , Shipping Company announce alterations in the final railing dates of both these steamers. The Kimutaka, which areived in port yesterday from Napier, is to sail for London on April 12, and will be followed by the Riapehu, now loading at southern ports, on April 19. WILTSHIRE’S PASSENGERS. The Federal Line advise that the Wiltshire has arrived at Sydney, lhe vessel has a number of passengers for New Zealand and the Auckland quota oi these will ’ leave Sydney by the Msiheno on Thursday. The Wellington passengers will come by the Manuka, leaving Sydney the same day as the Maheno, OTARAMA ON THE LOADING BERTH. The Otarama arrived at Timaru on Sunday, and is expected to leave there on Thursday for Picton. She will then come to Wellington, being due here on Monday next She should sail for Liverpool and Manchester three days later. BARANGA DELAYED. Tho S.S. and A. liner Raranga has hpen delayed, and is not due from Lyttelton now until Thursday. She should sail to day week for London. RADIO FROM SUSSEX. The New Zealand Shipping Company have received a radio messagcf from the captain of the Sussex stating that he expects to arrive at Auckland to-morrow. The Sussex, it will be remembered met met with an accident at Colon, and has on that account been delayed tor some time. She;,(left St. John on December 24. ATHENIC TO COMPLETE. Tho 88. and A. liner Athenic is exnected W clear Auckland to-day, and is due here on Thursday. She will complete loading, and is expected to sail for London on April 17, PORT SYDNEY AND PORT MACQUARIE. The Port Sydney arrived at Wellington ■ vest«rday morning from Auckland to continue discharge of her cargo from New York. She is to sail on Thursday to complete discharge at Lyttelton and Dunedin The Port Macquarie, which arrived here on Sunday afternoon, with cargo from United Kingdom, via Auckland, is to leave Wellingtqn at the end of the week to continue discharge at Gisborne. SHROPSHIRE DUE SATURDAY. A wireless message received from the Federal liner Shropshire, en route from the United Kingdom with a number of immigrants for the Dominion states that the vessel will arrive at Wellington next Saturday afternoon. PALOONA SAILS TO-MORROW. The Union Company’s steamer Paloona is to sail on Wednesday for Melbourne. Mr ■H. George has joined the Kakapo as third mate, vice Mr. R. Gibbons. The John arrived last night from Tarakohe, via Picton. She put into Picton owing'to stress of weather. The Flora is to sail to-morrow, taking general cargo for Auckland, where she will enter tho Eastern Pacific run. Tho Wanaka was unable to sail yesterday for Timaru, Oamaru. Dunedin, and Bluff, but should get away to-day. It is hoped to dispatch the Koranui for Dunedin to-day, but the vessel's departure may have to be postponed.
The Rama is due at Timaru to-day from the Chatham Islands. Bhe will return to the Chathams to load for Lyttelton. The Kauri is due on Thursday from N The aß Stella is now due from Dunedin to-morrow, and will sail for Auckland the following day. , . The Wootton has been delayed ana is not expected from Lyttelton until to-mor-row. She will sail on the return trip on Thursday. r . The Komata is due to-day trom Westport, and will undergo overhaul and survey here. Sha will probably go on tne slip, and should be ready to resume on April 14. The Kennedy, which was to have gone to Foxton. is now to go to Tarakone. where she will load cemdnt either lor Wellington or Wanganui. The Union Company advise that the Waitemata should sail on Thursday or. Friday for Newcastle. She will load there, but it is not yet certain for which. P< Tho 'Blenheim will sail today for Sounds. She will load sheep there for Petone. The West Holbrook shoud get away at the end of the week for Melbourne.
