SILESIAN PLEBISCITE
London, March 27. The correspondent of “The Times” at IV ar saw states that the Polish rejoicing over the result of the Silesian plebiscite is ipremature. The Poles overlook the hard diplomatic battle remaining to be fought, and under-estimate the weighty effect of the Germans’ 250,000 majority. Polish confidence is based i n the wording of the Versailles Treaty, which says that the result of the vote will be determined by communes. Tho Poles won within the frontier suggested by Korfanty, 80 yer cent, of the total communes, and lave an aggrogale majority of 20.0110. 'I hey told that ’the authors of the treaty foresaw the necessity of a division'ef too province-— “The Times.”
