SHIPBUILDING EMPLOYEES’ WAGES
CONFERENCE WITH EMPLOYERS ' FAILS.

The conference of shipbuilding employers and employees, with a view to arranging a new basis of wages, failed. The employers declined the suggested arbitration under the Industrial Court Act. The employees arc approaching the Ministry, with a view to establishing machinery for a settlement. — Reuter.
