A DOUBLE FATALITY
CAR DRIVER CHARGED WITH MANSLAUGHTER. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui, April 4. ■ An inquest was held this afternoon into the circumstances of the deaths of \ iofet Campbell and Robert Irfonard Aii.-im-son, who were killed by a motor-car on Easier Saturday night. The Coroner roturned the following verdicV "Iliat. Ihe deaths were due to being knocked iloun by a motor-car driven by Bernard Mullins, and that the same Mullins did cause the deaths by negligently driving the car at a speed and in a manner dangerous to the public. Subsequently Mullins was charged with mfinslaughter, and admitted to bail in £5OO. [Previous messages from Wanganui reported that the two deceased were walking along Dublin Street, going into towu, when they were run over by a car driven by a man named Mullins, a farmer, ©f Brunswick. The girl was killed and Adamson wa* injured, being dragged a chain under' tfhe car. He died later in hospital.]
